Hack description

After making a patch to recolor the Ghostbusters to allow Winston a more natural skin tone, many other alterations were made in an attempt to make an already great game even better.

Ghostbusters recolored.

Improved Ghostbuster sprites (Proton packs, legs, Peter's hairline, Egon's glasses, etc...).

Color palette tweaks to enemies and a few minor tweaks to level palettes.

Shrunk giant chair on character select screen.

Minor sprite/tile edits and fixes.

Added names to credits.

Other changes:

Vigo's hair outlined, making it much more visible (no more bald Vigo).

Improved Janosz's sprite.

Major color palette tweaks on every level to create better contrast and compliment the new-colored ghostbusters.

Changes v1.1

Improved legs.

Color changes to character select (reverted) and level 2 (for variety).

Few other minor tweaks.

To use:
Apply patch to the European version of the ROM and enjoy! (patch might also be compatible with Japan and Prototype versions, as there is not much difference between them; untested).

New Ghostbusters 2 is already an awesome game, but this hack definitely improves it a lot. I love the graphical changes and the bugfixes done to it. The only way this hack could be any better is if it also had an optional two player mode, as I have always felt this game would make for an excellent co-op game. But overall, great job guys!

This is an excellent hack and Id like to let everyone know that it also works with the US Prototype. When you try the Japanese ROM something really strange happens. Check it out!
