Hack description

This project rewrote Secret of Mana's vast amount of menu text in proper case. However, it is no longer available on RHDN, and has been obsoleted by Secret of Mana: Relocalized by Timbo, as well as the official 3D remake.

Tested as part of the ongoing Secret of Mana Turbo Project, by Queue (with various resources provided by zhaDe as part of Secret of Mana: New Game Improvement). Latest version used.

A most excellent way for a text-mod to build upon what VWF started, all those years ago. Was there anything more sucky about the Mode 5 Menu Screens than the use of all-caps?! I suppose I could go into a long discourse, about how the algorithm for drawing red bars next to Character Stats, apparently lacks any sense of polish. But I waffle on enough as it is, maybe later... ^_^'

Now we have proper Queen's English being spoken to us in these menus! Exactly how it should've been. If you aren't using this mod, or some variant of it, you're really missing out. I never knew I wanted this... until I saw it with my own two world-weary eyes.

I know what you're thinking. "Melodramatic much?" Well......

Yup. Hehe...

A nice text modlexluthermiester2016-04-10Version 0.1a

This definitely makes the game look better, and it is certainly well done, start to finish.

Would like to point out that the original "all caps" text instances are not as grievously horrible as the author thinks. However, this is still a good improvement to a most excellent and wonderful game!

Also, I can verify that this mod will work seamlessly and flawlessly with the above mentioned combination of patches.

So patch away and enjoy!
