Mega Man 4 - Ridley X Hack 3

Difficulty: EASY-MEDIUM

Comments: 4's Hack 3 dresses itself in Mega Man 2, but does little else outside of accurately copying its visuals. Gone is the sharp stage design from 4's Hack 2, replaced with mostly empty rooms and enemies that you can kill before they even get a chance to touch you. The Cossack and Wily stages ratchet up the heat a little (Cossack 3 has a lot of tough jumps), but it's too little too late by then. Tack on the fact that bosses and weapons are unchanged (at least do stuff like change Drill Bomb's sprite to Crash Bomb!), and you have yourself here an inoffensive but boring hack. Ridley X has done better than this.
