Isometric games by Rare tend to play awkward due to the shifted control scheme.

The D-pad controls have been reshifted upright, so now pressing:

UP = 'up' instead of 'up/right'

RIGHT = 'right' instead of 'down/right'

etc.

The dpad controls for Snake Rattle 'n' Roll were always correct, because up went up and right went right, but they suffered from being a little slow. You had to wait for the snake to turn which could cause the snake's death. Now they're more responsive. With this hack I was able to maneuver more quickly, and also more easily. Recommended.
