FDS games work on Retropie. But, it a hassle to flip disks all the time. And it's quite difficult to do the same with joypads that have fewer keys. This hack simply makes the FDS version (which is the definitive ROM for this game as it contains additional levels and modes not contained in NES or even Arcade version) work in the NES emulator thus bypassing the need for the disk swap. I would like more games like Vs. Excitebike to be converted as well to NES. For now, this is certainly a welcomed hack. | |||
