Rockman Cray 5 Levels: Bad Graphics: Bad Music: No Change (shuffled) Enemies: Bad Bosses: Bad Weapons: Eh (barely changed) Castle: Bad (Rush Jet heavy) Difficulty: MEDIUM-HARD (Castle is HARD) Comments: The Cray series closes out with the theme of "unavoidable damage". Enemies will relentlessly fire upon you, bosses will charge into you at breakneck speeds, and sometimes you'll be purposefully taking damage to nullify brutal spike sections. Like with the majority of CHIKO hacks, the level design here ranges from boring to appalling—take a peak at Tomahawk Man's stage to get a glimpse of what you're in for. Most levels will have you grappling with a single enemy spammed across dozens of screens, bringing some sections to a lag-filled crawl. There's not a lot of stages that require precise jumping, but in their place CHIKO tests how long you can stay in the air with the Rush Jet adapter, which can be grueling at times (good luck with Wily 2, I had to make a save state for that one). And of course, the hack is ugly as sin too; stay away from this one. | |||
