Comments: I'm of two minds on Cray 4. On one hand, it's full of the notorious CHIKO shenanigans like punishing jumps and over-zealous bosses, but on the other hand, the stage design is occasionally smart and even impressive. Sometimes enemies are used in a truly clumsy and brainless way, but every now and then there's a tricky section that will feel rewarding to get through. Bosses are fairly hit & miss too, with Star Man probably being the best CHIKO boss by a longshot... but you still have the usual trash like an annoying Charge Man, Gravity Man, Stone Man, etc. And on top of all of this, the visuals are putrid, blended together from disparate sources and given some of the worst color schemes imaginable. I'm half-tempted to rate it as "OKAY", but there's enough sections that will make you want to pull your hair out that the best Cray 4 can earn from me is "EH". Recommended if you want to see what a decent—albeit difficult—CHIKO hack might look like.
