Comments: At times, Cray 3 showcases some of CHIKO's best design, which... isn't saying much. The visuals are horrendous but if you can look past them, there's a semblance of smart stage design in a handful of levels, with Dive Man's being the pinnacle. It's not anything I'd recommend checking out though, especially since the CHIKO-isms are prevalent here (tight jumps, dumb bosses, and trial & error platforming in pitch black). What really cements Cray 3's awfulness is that Wily 1 is unbeatable as far as I can tell, needing you to drop down a 1-square wide hole while sliding. No big loss however, as the castle stages weren't fun nor even mildly clever. Staying true to the spirit of the series, Cray 3 is terrible, painful, and thoughtless, though one iota less than the other Crays I suppose.
