Rockman Cray 2 - BADDobu_GM2021-09-01Version 1.0

Rockman Cray 2

Levels: Eh

Graphics: Bad

Enemies: Bad

Bosses: Bad

Weapons: No Change

Castle: Bad

Difficulty: MEDIUM (Bosses can be HARD)

Comments: Cray 2 is no better than the first rendition of CHIKO's shamelessly ugly series. Note that it often looks worse than what the screenshots make it out to be—expect a lot of doofy enemies and nearly nonsensical robot masters. Speaking of, most of the bosses attack faster but they're not too bad. That is, until you run into Needle Man and Top Man, the former having invisible bullets while the latter attacks at breakneck speeds—and both can kill you in 3 hits. The Doc Robots are also equally stupid, although strangely the Metal Man fight is actually a solid battle. I would be tempted to go a little easier on Cray 2 given that it's not as ludicrously offensive as some of CHIKO's other children, but so many enemies have been changed to be super irritating (HAMMER JOES!!!!) that there's no way Cray 2 gets anything other than a "Bad" rating.

Very different from vanilla.ActionHenk2019-12-30Version 1.0

Even basic enemies have different behaviors, which significantly spices up the original game.

This can be considered a hard difficulty hack mostly because of new stage design. The bosses are slightly modified in their behavior and all of the bosses have new names and sprites.
