I am sorry to report, but I actually prefer the original button layout. I like the fact that you can fend off enemies behind you while punching in the front. Also, this hack makes it harder to do what I call "The Super Knee" attack and the "Hurricane" attack. So, my recommendation for this hack is a big thumbs down.
| Cool game, definitely recommended it to others | OrangeLuigi | 2019-09-14 | Version 1.0 |
Cool game but enemies need more health. Enemies climbing down ladders glitch Shadow holding a weapon is blank Dynamite and fire is not right when enemies drop them File converts all the words into Japanese for some reason Other than that it was really a lot of fun to kick their butts

I played this version before any other, and prefer the controls this way. It actually throws me off playing DD1 lol. But, still, I can understand the frustration. Good work. Would be cool if someone could do the opposite and make the controls of DD like DD2.
| Best DD hack ever.... | MathUser2929 | 2016-06-12 | Version 1.0 |
When I first played this game as a child it took a while to get used to the left attack, right attack button scheme. It's not as much a issue now as it was then, but I like this hack all the same! Having a punch and kick button again makes this feel a lot more like DD instead of Renegade. He even made it so that the punch button uses the weapon no matter which way you are facing, and kick throws objects. All bases seem to be covered.
