Hack description

This is a ROM hack of Final Fantasy (NES), so that the Light Warriors are all female. At its core, the character graphics are redrawn anew (along with some other graphics); in addition, some of the NPC dialogue is changed to reflect different perceptions of this fact in a realistically subtle way. However, the actual gameplay (plotline, class abilities, enemies, etc) remains the same, intentionally.

So, in effect, this is simply a genderswap of FF1, for those who'd like to play it that way. A simple premise, but which can have surprising emotional implications... on both sides of the screen.

Great stuff (with one caveat)belthegor2016-02-06Version Release 1

Played through the entire game, was just as fun as vanilla Final Fantasy, with a number of neat little changes (mostly to dialogue). The new player character sprites are great. The only issue is that there is a very nasty, unavoidable glitch which halts progress. In the Titan's cave, if you try to leave it the way you came in initially (which you have to in order to proceed) you end up in an infinite loop, never able to progress through the rest of the game. I was able to work around it with a game genie code and finish the rest of the game, which, again, was an enjoyable experience. It's just that one glitch that badly needs fixing.

A good timetiffers302016-02-03Version Release 1

Played this version for a few hours and had a great time with it. The sprites were really well done and some of the dialog changes were pretty funny.

I did get stuck that I was unable to fix on my way to the earth cave for the second time (after getting the ROD from the old man).

I was really looking forward to see the upgraded classes.
