Hack description

This collection of patches is full of edits to your starting setup in the game.

-Alternate Party: Remixes the beginning party in a way that shakes things up a little, but keeps the original's versatility. Most notably this changes Montblanc to start as an Animist, which should give him a better path towards the Moogle's physical jobs.

-Marche Jobs: Originally Marche starts as a normal Soldier with the job's combo mastered. This patch set serves as a crude sort of starting job select: it sets Marche's Job to what name it states on the patch from the start (any Hume job), but with equipment and abilities to match the low level of Marche's original kit.

Little hacks that go a long way.Arceus I2022-10-01Version Final

This is one of the most fundamental hacks I've seen! Being able to change Marche's Job and the party's jobs bring out a more balanced experience!

You can use the hacks independently (Change Party Jobs while Marche remains a Soldier OR Change Marche's Job while keeping the Original Party Jobs) - or as Minecraft said it "Better Together" and change Marche's Job and have a different Party setup right away!

One note (Not a negative): Changing Jobs WILL impact starting stats. If Marche has a Physical-oriented job, stats won't change much, but if Marche has a Magic-oriented job, however, Marche loses HP and gains MP to compensate... so be careful what you're doing or you may inadvertently make the game too hard because of Marche having a dangerously low HP stat!

Try lots of combinations and see which ones you like!* The game proper is unaffected so everything goes as normal like a vanilla Final Fantasy Tactics Advance game.

Overall: I really cannot define a rating due to the combinations, however, this hack is beginner-friendly because the game itself isn't affected, so anybody can play this pack of hacks

  • The results of this hack will vary depending on which patches you use, so one path may be quite different than another. I have also noted that the only glitches in this hack would be the ones from vanilla.
