Full disclosure: I've never played a Touhou game before, so I'm going to ask that you stifle your giggles at my imagined reactions while I pretend that this was just some weird anime fever dream, okay? This hack is rather short at only 2 full worlds, but what's there is quite enjoyable. The level design isn't completely punishing, and power-ups are quite plentiful. It was a bit hard trying to pick out which thing was which Mario enemy, though; all of these anime princess lolitas look the same to me. All of the backgrounds are black, and most of the colors used are bright or bold, which makes quite a wonderful aesthetic, and to me, that was the real star of the show. The fireballs are a bit different, having a lob before going into the usual bouncing routine, and that made them more useful in a lot of instances. Some of the music has been changed, and you'll mostly hear one song from beginning to end, but it's a good one, and doesn't get old, since the hack is only 2 worlds long. If this all sounds like your kind of thing, then I'd highly recommend giving this one a shot!
