Hack description

Here is a full hack for Castlevania which changes the levels and palettes of the game. Also you start with 99 lives (due to difficulty of the game) and also the axe uses no hearts when thrown.

This hack is fun, the layout of the levels is a shit, even the palettes and enemies as well. This hack contains 335678998654345455 bats that fly in the screen without a fixed pattern. The best thing is Stage 2-2 where there are impassable ditches and that you should overcome while dodging bats. Yes, I'm serious, next you have to overcome this part. The rest of the hack is horrible like before, ironically the most fun part is overcome ditches, but this hack reach the best in fifth level where its all black and you can't see where you must go. Besides saying that this hack sucks, I can not think of anything else. My vote for this hack is 1/5

Can't say much about this hack. My playthrough ended on stage 2-2. And what stopped me was not the amount of stupidly placed enemies or tough platforming (which does not even exist here) but FIVE gaps in a row that are three blocks wide (an extremely difficult jump) without a way to skip them. And I checked the patched rom with Stake in hope that there was a hidden stair somewhere. Nope, I was too naive, it seems. Just what was the creator of this hack thinking when he decided that giving 99 lives will miraculously hold players for more than a few futile attempts?
