Hack description

This hack changes the colors of the uniforms of the Ghostbusters from blue to khaki, this will make them look more accurate to their movie counterparts.

It does change the colors of some of the text, some of the enemies, the weapons in the pause menu and Arthur's attire. But they don't look messed up, so the changes to them didn't ruin the game.

This hack also restores the cheat codes from the Japanese version as well.

The HivePal palette editor along with the 0xED hex editor were used to make this hack.

I should point out that in Ghostbusters 2, their uniforms changed to a more bluish-grey, which is why they look like that in the game. However, since the game takes place between the two films, this is more accurate. The important thing is the hack does exactly what it says on the tin. No graphical glitches or anything, so it's good.

This hack completes the Ghostbusters experience on Genesis. The game is only decent, but at least it's now more accurate to its source material. Seeing the gang in their tan outfits really makes this game feel like it could be an actual part of the Ghostbusters story. The levels look a bit better too. I would recommend this hack for anyone looking to play this early Genesis title.
