Be honest, the perfect video game player does not exist. Even the most skilled and expert players in the world can make some mistakes and lose a life. Sonic the Hedgehog, for how great it is, is not easy to beat and does require some hits and deaths to get through (unless you are a god at playing it, but still...)

And what does this hack do? It takes matters too seriously and puts in all the craziest stuff and hazards I've ever seen, making the game extremely unfair and borderline unbeatable. You start with a single life, you don't score any points from killing enemies, checkpoints are gone and there are insta-kill monitors (seriously, what's the point of adding these? There's a section with a row of monitors in Marble Zone 1 and if you land on it by accident it's the end). One hit and you have to start over from the very beginning!

Wait, there's more. They even removed the debug mode for some reason, for another reason they made the level select start at Green Hill Zone 1 no matter what zone you choose, and the worst of it all: there are no rings, so you can't access the Special Stage, you can't get Chaos Emeralds and you will always get the bad ending.

I have no idea of what was going on in the author's head when he made this hack, but one thing is for sure - this is the worst Sonic the Hedgehog ROM hack of all time. Don't ever play it!
