Different But Not Terribly ExcitingFreightMan712016-03-31Version 1.0

Ok, I am all for putting some "flair" or "pizzazz" in a game to make things different.

This certainly does that.

Except that the changes don't do much for the gameplay. Seems like changes for changes sake.

And oh yea, personally, I am not easily offended, but I think the author should have made a note of the "phallic" imagery in the game.

Yea, I know, "different", but it all falls basically flat. And people should know, content wise, what is going on here before letting their 11 or 12 year olds play.

Again, not to be prudish, but there is an obligation to the author about content.

Anyways, the game itself plays well enough (if you can somehow not be distracted by the 'loud' environments). There are no bugs or game crashing issues.

Game is hard already...with all the extra stuff going on here, it just makes things needlessly moreso.

My recommendation is "No"...stick with the original Gradius....or better yet, a hack that actually enhances gameplay in some way.
