What it should have looked likestar_scream16462018-09-17Version 1.0

Lately I have had a Street Fighter II itch and been playing the SNES version of SSFII since it was the version I mostly played as a kid. Decided to give the Genesis version a go and at least to me it played good. However I was disappointed with how the game looked in terms of color, had heard about this hack and applied it to the game. I could spot the difference right away for the better. If you're a fan of the Genesis version of SSFII, do your self a favor and apply this hack. This is what the game should have looked like on the Genesis back in the 90's.

Side note: Also apply the Super Street Fighter II PCM driver fix by Stephane Dallongeville to make the voices clearer. Now if only something could be done about the music and sound effects.

Once again, Pyron doesn't disappoint. Gone are the sparse, unfitting color choices of the original and in are some tasteful colors that rival the SNES version. It baffles me just how badly Capcom screwed this up in the first place, considering how decent Special Champion Edition looked. Used with Stef's audio mod, this really improves what was originally a lackluster port. Now if someone could completely replace the music with better instrument choices, then this could arguably be better than the SNES port.
