Hack description

This hack by dACE converts the Konami Collection Vol. 1 (E) game into a standalone Castlevania Adventure ROM by autobooting straight into the game.

You can now enjoy a fully coloured version of this wonderful Gameboy Classic!

As of v1.1, the Autoboot patch includes the familiar Konami logo screen and then goes into the Castlevania title screen.

PS: The IPS already includes the Speed Hacks previously made by hiro1112.

Castlevania the Adventure is a rough title in the series. But it's made leagues better thanks to this hack. Combining the GBC rerelease with speed hacks to make the game more fluid and less cheap was a masterful decision. Overall a great hack to create the best standalone Gameboy experience for this game.

Using this patch I just named my ROM Castlevania - The Adventure (Konami Collection Autoboot) (E) [C][!]. No need to pretend it's a compilation of games I don't wanna play anymore. Reccomended.

Thank you for this. The Konami GB Collection games are nice, but there are only a few games on each collection worth playing. I'd much rather boot up a single game at a time. Now if only we can get stand-alone versions of Operation C and the Nemesis games.
