Hack description

"Rockman 3: The Last of Mushroom Kingdom?!" (Rockman 3: Kinoko Oukoku no Saigo?!) is a comprehensive romhack of Rockman 3 (NOT Mega Man III) for the Famicom. The game's levels and music are turned into Super Mario Bros. world. Do note that this is not related to the first Mega Man in the Mushroom Kingdom (or is it...? ....no, its not).

The world of the Mushroom Kingdom is invaded by Dr. Wily with his army of robots. Mario is not around when Dr. Wily took over the Mushroom Kingdom, so Princess Peach can only depend, this time, on Rockman to stop Dr. Wily from his world domination delusions!

Rockman 3: The Last of Mushroom Kingdom?!

Levels: Eh

Graphics: Good

Music: Okay

Enemies: No Change

Bosses: No Change

Weapons: No Change

Castle: Bad

Difficulty: EASY

Comments: This is a very peculiar hack that's difficult to recommend. If the idea of playing through ~80% of Super Mario Bros. as Mega Man (with MM3 enemies) tickles your fancy, you'll probably have fun. But if you're looking for a fun/good hack you'll have to look elsewhere. The author tries to add fitting enemies to each level but outside of the Bullet Bills, nothing really works since the Mega Buster can mow down most foes from afar. Bosses feel randomly ordered with some of the hardest ones first, and Bowser's castle at the end of the game leans heavily on the repeating mazes, which could drive folks that don't know the solution pretty mad. It's neat for what it is I suppose—its very loyal to the source material—but I doubt I'll ever play it again.

RM3: The Last of Mushroom Kingdom?! -Super Mario Crossover???diablo6662021-10-29Version 1.0

Oh, wrong game... rather, it's not a fan game, it's a hack. Carefully took the original SMB and introduced in Rockman 3. Of course, no one will offer you enemies from Mario, but it's okay. The music is well converted, there are forks, as in the original Mario. This is unusual and interesting... If only it is necessary to remove the "memory slot" from here, because it is already an easy game.

But, until I forget, all 4 zones are now a separate world. THE WORLD OF BOWSER'S CASTLE... Oops, misspoke, this castle is now Wily. But there is a Princess here...

An amazing tribute to Mario and Mega ManSupergamerguy2020-07-26Version 1.0

This hack was such a surprise when I first stumbled upon it, I didn't expect a Mario 1 styled hack of Mega Man to ever be a thing, but I'm glad it does exist because I had a really fun time with it. The new level design is top quality and traveling through Mario's world with Mega Man opponents here and there is super exciting! The teleporters also remind me of Mega Man Xtreme's save points, which helps fit the Mega Man and Mario mashup aesthetic. Definitely play this hack if you're a fan of both series or a platformer fan in general!

Amazing hack!AdrielRB2015-07-20Version 1.0

Great hack! Its an amazing way to combine Super Mario Bros. and Rockman. I don't like the black sphere teleportation, I think it looks good as a capsule teleportation. Also, this hack doesn't include -1 world. I enjoy this hack.
