pretty goodjc_underscore_2023-03-25Version B

I'm just gonna go course by course:

1-1 A fairly standard circuit course. Like og MC1 but a little more complex. Good starter course. 4/5

1-2 Another good course, but it feels a bit lacking. 3/5

1-3 Definitely the hardest Mushroom cup course. The Choco Island thick offroad certainly doesn't help, especially in the last couple turns. Still, pretty good. 3.5/5

1-4 Pretty basic, even for Koopa Beach standards. The jump pad bridge does spice it up though, and overall, it's a good course. 4/5

1-5 Really puts the "donut" in Donut Plains. Joke aside, another simple track, and it plays well. 4/5

2-1 ...well, this is certainly interesting. It seems like it was trying to mimic that section of BC3, but in my opinion, it's just too chaotic of a layout. At least it's a decent course. 2.5/5

2-2 Speaking of Bowser Castle, here's one. Yet another simple layout, and a nice contrast to the previous course. Being able to cheese this with a feather is a nice bonus, too. 3.5/5

2-3 This is Vanilla Lake, but good. Personally, I didn't have too much trouble with the snow blocks here, and it's a nice drive. 3.5/5

2-4 Another simple layout. Not much to say here. 3.5/5

2-5 Like 1-3, another fairly technical Choco Island course, and a good end to the Flower Cup. 3.5/5

3-1 Oh boy. This one. Literally just a zig-zag, and pointlessly long. Probably the only course I didn't like. Pray for a feather from the item box. 1.5/5

3-2 Going from one of the worst tracks to one of the best. This feels like if Nintendo made a BC1.5, and being able to skip the U-turns with a feather is an added bonus. Overall, great track. 5/5

3-3 The other Vanilla Lake, with a very similar layout. This is easier than the one before, though. No snow blocks, so that's good. 4/5

3-4 A bit odd that there's a Rainbow Road here, and a curvy one at that. Feels like it suits a different theme. Regardless, a regular layout. Don't underestimate the death pits though. 3.5/5

3-5 The final Choco Island, and my favorite of the three. Not much to say, other than that it's pretty complex. 4/5

S-1 Starting the Special Cup off strong, we've got this hack's Donut Plains 3, which at first glance looks pretty unassuming. That is, until you notice the moles. A lot of moles. Great track overall. 4.5/5

S-2 Next up, we have ̶K̶o̶o̶p̶a̶ ̶B̶e̶a̶c̶h̶ ̶2̶ DS Test Circle. ...yeah that's pretty much it. 3.5/5, I guess

S-3 This is what Mario Circuit 4 should've been. A nice, technical course with some oil slicks. 4.5/5

S-4 Here's a challenging Ghost Valley track. Few walls, some holes in the road, and pretty fun. 4.5/5

S-5 The actual Rainbow Road, and i's one of my favorite tracks in this hack. Definitely tough, and feels official. Probably the best course in the entire hack. 5/5

Overall, I like this hack. There's only a couple iffy levels, and the good levels are GOOD. Would recommend.
