Hack description

IPS Patching required.

Further dialogue/sprite and item/enemy editing has been done for this update. Dracula now has a cape as well as other improvements. Note that previous saves WILL NOT work for this update.

This story puts you in control of Dracula (Soma) freshly resurrected from the Underworld. You must discover who has stolen his power. The story/dialogue has been rewritten, but the game play remains the same. Attempted to make it believable within the Castlevania canon.

There have been substantial palette editing, item and enemy stats, custom weapons and item placement. Special thanks to DarkPrinceAlucard for allowing to use his Shaft and Succubus sprites/portraits and for helping with the others.

Please note: Death is an optional boss since the item you get for defeating him has been relocated.

Have fun! Comments and suggestions are appreciated!

Wonderful!A Bag Of Stale Turnips2021-05-03Version 1.7

Dude this hack was great. The story was nice and the revamped models for the characters and souls were amazing. I especially liked the giant bat soul remodel. And, putting it in hard mode added a wonderful increase in difficulty that made the hack challenging and fun. All in all, 10/10.

Awsome!! But needs some tweaks here and there.Anoram2020-12-14Version 1.7

Just finished this hack. Its awesome!! I love the weapon changes and some color palette changes too!! I loved some enemy placement changes - for example, the ones in the chaotic realm were surprising! Overall it's a nice hack. It's a little bit hard but that's fine - I still enjoyed it!!

Story. 8/10 Difficulty. 9/10 Aesthetics. 8/10 Over all. 8.5/10

Hard.StarWyvern2019-12-16Version 1.7

Maybe too hard. At level 25, nothing except bosses should be doing 200-300 Damage! And I really feel like Dracula, himself, does a lot less damage to the enemies than he should be. If you don't have a looootttt of free time, don't play this hack.

Go back into the DSVania Editor and redo all of the enemy attack/HP stats. For real!

... eh. At least put effort into it. Like, you HAVE to use a cheat to "roleplay" as Dracula and get the bad ending? What? Pfff..
