Those opening cutscenes are torture to sit through! Please add the ability to skip or disable them. Other than that I love this patch. Thank you.

I gave it a shot with the translation and it worked fine. The issue is in how obvious it is that the game wasn't meant to be played like this. The intro cutscenes for example, becomes extremely redundant and boring without dialogue or a skip button. It also doesn't go to 7-2 and 100%ing the game yields no rewards. Only play this to see what it's all about and maybe learn a thing or 2. If you just want to do a straight play through of Mario 2 get the Advanced or All Stars version.
