Hack description

This is a hack that replaces Soma Cruz with Genya Arikado from Aria of Sorrow.
There are a number of other changes as well, such as elements from symphony of the night being carried over like the following:

This hack works with the Castlevania Aria of Sorrow US version of the game, and requires a IPS patcher or emulator that can do soft IPS patching.

Enjoy.

UPDATE

Thanks to the efforts of Ken Leong and Caminopreacher, I now have a new version of the hack to release. Ken Leong has provided fixes to some of the animations like the running animation as well as adding various new items from SOTN such as the Alucard Sword, Alucard Armor and much more. Caminopreacher has added a new story for AOS that is centered around Arikado instead of Soma.

Once again, enjoy.

New Characters? HECKS YEAH!!!!StarWyvern2019-12-15Version 1.2

Anyone who wants a new feel at AOS should play this hack! I love the story change. And the feel of playing through AOS with Genya Arikado as a fully playable character, is absolutely phenomenal. Along with the soul changes it really feels new.

I also especially enjoyed my 2nd playthrough with Blue Outfit Julius, giving it a reminiscent feel as though you are running the castle as Richter Belmont.

Thank you for all your hard work and effort. It truly is an Awesome Hack!

Great work!caminopreacher2016-04-03Version 1.1

Upon playing for just a few minutes, you can tell the attention to detail that was put into this hack. I recommend it to any Castlevania enthusiast. Keep up the great work!
