No Spoilers, this Super Metroid mod is excellent! It's layout is creative, item placement well thought out and allows for a ton of exploration. The difficulty level is higher than the original game, but not so high that it's frustrating. I will give some advice, before entering a new area, make sure you have all your health and ammo topped off.

Casual or inexperienced players be warned, there is a learning curve here. Play through the original game a couple times to give yourself some skill and practice.

Everyone else, dig in, have fun!

This feels like a full, official game, not your regular romhack. Every new addition blends perfectly with the Super Metoid sprites. The colors are beautiful and level design is professional. must-play for Metroid fans!

This is a professionally made hack with difficulty only a little higher than the original game. There are hell runs, but no advanced techniques are required except horizontal spine shark (if that counts as an advanced technique), and a bomb-jumping sequence at the very end. Wall jump is an acquired item but you won't use it much. Bosses are not hard with one exception (and there's a way to cheese that one exception).

It has been playtested well because I never felt like I didn't have anywhere to go, nor did I encounter any problems. There are many nice touches such as new music tracks and new graphical effects. Give it a try!
