A difficult to like game, no longerUncle_Jo2023-11-01Version 0.1

It is very hard to find the fun in this game without full on nostalgia goggles. Not because it's bad or unfair, or poorly done, no. It's because, like the game Trojan, the controls are super obtuse.

There's a control standard with this era of games. A jumps, B shoots, and Up + B (or select) is your special weapon. Ninja Gaiden, Castlevania, and any number of other games follow this paradigm. Heck, even Super Mario Bros is 'A' to jump and 'B' to shoot. Metroid too, and select in Metroid switches to your special.

This hack adds the standard controls to the game, and honestly it makes the whole thing worth playing.

It's fun with this hack, but adding the 'easy' hack makes it that much more fun. They seem to work just fine together.

Honestly if you gave this game a pass in the past, fire up these hacks and give it a go.

Awesome!banesbox2017-04-14Version 0.1

I remember skipping Rush 'N Attack on the NES when I was a kid for the very reason that up was jump. Rainponcho's 0.1 hack fixes that and now, 32 years later, I can finally play this game for the first time.

Thanks Rainponcho and anyone else involved, this is a fantastic hack! A must for all NES fans hands down.
