Hack description

This patch makes several changes to Dawn of Sorrow so that you can complete the game without needing to use the touch screen for anything.
* Magic seals are completed automatically like in Julius mode.
* Ice blocks can be destroyed with melee weapons if you have Balore's soul.
* The name signing screen when starting a new game is skipped.

This patch only works on the North American version of Dawn of Sorrow.

Update v1.1: Fixed a crash when trying to use certain weapons to break ice blocks. If you're updating from 1.0 to 1.1, make sure you apply 1.1 to a clean ROM, not to a ROM that already had 1.0 patched to it.

Removing a useless gimmicks has wonders on the game, vanilla ds or emulated you don't have to reach for an extra object just to kill a boss, no name signing for profiles is no big deal for the hell this mod will save you.

Now it works!Dellamorte2017-04-23Version 1.1

It works just has the author says and it's a nice improvement over the original. It was annoying to be forced to use the touch screen especially for the boss fights since you had to do it quickly and well.

With works with the luck stat bug fix.

Not a bad patch, but one little complaint...Tsukiyomaru02017-04-21Version 1.0

It does most of it indeed, but the Balore Blocks would be better off impossible to be interacted with and the Balore Soul could be an usable soul, in my honest opinion. Seems the bug previously mentioned (freezing the game when an "improved" weapon is used against them) also happens to base weapons too (weapons that weren't improved at all).

So, yes, my proposal is to turn Balore Soul into a more useful one and "scrap" the blocks off if possible, perhaps have the soul boost luck and Balore be a bonus, skip-able boss harder than it currently is, make him and his soul less Scrappy
