This hack tries to play and Level Design, with Bosses, with music and graphic elements in levels and in enemies.

It really works. Everything looks interesting and in some sense Unusual.

Although the bosses of Robomasters have slightly changed the AI, but the "room of each boss" - they offer to defeat them in a different way. And that's good.

Other bosses won't cause any problems either.

Each Stage is honest, although it will not be passable on the first attempt. And, I can say a special thank you for the Simplification and Relief against the "Alien". The E-tank was really needed in the last level. And suffer less over the victory against the "Alien", because it really upset a lot of HP before.

Now the "Alien" is My favorite boss, even though he is more cunning than usual

If you want something fast, similar to "Burst Chase" - then this hack will be perfect.

And simply: " I recommend it, because the hack is well done"

Mega Man II Wily's Conquest 2 - Hyper Edition Turbo!

Levels: Good

Graphics: Good

Music: Good

Enemies: No Change

Bosses: Okay (Few Changes/Different Rooms)

Weapons: Eh (Few Changes)

Castle: Okay (Platforming Heavy)

Difficulty: MEDIUM

Comments: A decent hack that utilizes Burst Chaser's increased movement speed. Level design is good for the most part; since most of the weapons and all of the enemies remain unchanged, you'll find yourself falling back into old habits, even with the increased speed. What MM2WC2HET! boasts that other hacks don't though are two things: excruciatingly long jumps, which greatly inflate the difficulty of an otherwise easy hack, and larger boss health bars, which sometimes makes fights more tense (Quick Man) and other times really, really drags out a battle (Alien Wily). It's a nice hack, albeit nothing that special; give it a go if you love Burst Chaser.

This version of the hack is seriously fun to play. It's rare enough to find a fair and yet challenging Mega Man II hack that's not unfairly difficult, 8-bit fan was also able to turn something that was a bit of a mess into something delightful. Hats off.

The old version was all about button mashing due to awful enemy spam. This update eliminated that and turned the hack into a unique, fast paced run and gun platforming experience. Each level has it's own set of challenges. I also like how the hardest challenges in each level are optional and are usually for special 1-ups and E-tanks. This way novice players can still enjoy the game by simply skipping the said parts without the need to get frustrated.

Like the review by Bclams mentioned, the items usage in the Wily levels are clever and not annoying. The music is wonderful and I really like how some of the Wily bosses have more health than just the 1 bar. I have one problem with this hack - the graphics in Wily level 5 where you revisit the 8 bosses. It's too flashy and very distracting.

Overall, this is such a fun Mega Man II hack that I would honestly recommend to everyone. Great job!

I tried it when I saw it on the RHDN news and it was awful remake or should I saw an awful completed hack. It still needs work! I played 1.0 first, then updates constantly change which is now 1.13 I am reviewing.

Anyone remodeled the abandoned project could have swap enemy sprites which is an example of Wily 1 or beginning of Quick Man's stage to allow the Changkey sprite instead of changing the WORM's graphics which is was in the abandoned version. Blast Hornet's Rockman EXILE is an PERFECT example!

Glitches are still everywhere and the door opening and closing should not exist in Heat Man's boss chamber. Not to mention the LASER beams which there is NONE in the original abandoned version. Why you can't fall through the floor in BubbleMan's stage before the boss which was an EXPLOSION in an abandoned version.

I was expecting to have the door opening horizontally if they learn ASM. As for Heat Man's stage, why not use Rock/Mega Man 1's Wily 1 & 2 stage themes instead they use the same sound engine.

I have dissected the game long enough and I recommend you to play the abandoned version instead of this one.

Mega Man Wily's Conquest 2 is one of the best games but if made properly if had more skilled developers to complete it.

This hack was very fun to play through. I really like the faster paced gameplay and movement. The levels are changed so well from the old version also. The puzzles that uses items 1 2 3 are very smart in Wily levels. The Conquest mode is harder but never unfair. I love the music.

I beat this already on Easy difficulty and now I am playing Conquest. It's best to start on the latter as Easy is just too easy and I beat it in record time pretty much. The amount of changes is staggering and necessary really as Mega Man II has been notorious for it's punishing difficulty in places. This hack pretty much is fair to any player who is smart enough to know what to do.
