Hack description

On the continent of Emire, 17 years ago, a thirteen year war (commonly referred to as the "Great War") ended as the vassals of a Emperor turned against him to remove him from power and established themselves as separate powers in the mainland, bringing about a new era peace in the lands.

This hack follows those in the noble house of Olva and more specifically the two children of the head of the house, Valentine and Ash, as another noble house, Egarde, threatens them by declaring war on them.

Meanwhile, a more sinister threat grows to present itself.

This is an FE7 ROM hack, containing 26 chapters (prologue - ch.24 and a Gaiden chapter)

It contains new events, maps, sprites, icons(not all) and story. (Not much in the way of other custom graphics, like UI, unfortunately)

Supports are available between characters. (100% complete) Turn rankings have been worked out. (Sort of, the creator is not an LTC player) Hard mode is available and slightly different in some later stages.

Fire Emblem, going on 30 years has spawned quite the base. And also some great fan versions too such as this one. Requiem is strong, and as the headline says, it's deep. It's definitely one long story and game but the story is decent and does belong in the Fire Emblem universe. This is very close to a new game with only very few remnants of the original here but are at least fast forwarded out. No complaint. And this has full support systems and I found no glitches or bugs at all. Works perfectly. The creator put some hard work here and it does show. I enjoyed this quite well. Highly recommend!

Fire Emblem: Requiem is a fan hack made using Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken (simply titled Fire Emblem in the U.S) as a base. It features an interesting story line, along with original characters and some new class changes to the knight and cavalier classes. For example, rather than seeing only lance wielding knights, some use swords, while others use axes. The cavalier unit has also been split into two unique sub-classes. There's the original lance and sword wielding ones and others that use axes and lances. All these little changes along with the originally created story and characters are what give Fire Emblem: Requiem such a fresh new feel to it. If you liked playing Fire Emblem: The Last Promise, then you'll more than certainly enjoying playing this one as well. I would definitely recommend this fan hack to any Fire Emblem fan.
