I haven't tested this personally yet, but I am about to start playing it, and I wanted to reply to the other reviewer. It now DOES work on real hardware, so DO NOT let his review deter you. This seems like the absolute best way to play Arcana. Cheers | |||

I think this is a great idea, and I'm sure it's no trivial hack to do a low-level conversion like this, but it sadly does NOT work on real hardware. I tossed it onto an SHVC-1A3B cartridge board (same as the original game and compatible with slowrom AND fastrom) and while the intros and title screen work fine, it freezes at the first playable scene. Interestingly, the game did NOT crash; the music kept right on going but the game itself was totally locked up, glitching a few graphics in the border as well. Shame. Works great in an emulator though! | |||
