Some flaws, probably supercededbobrocks952023-04-20Version 1.1

There is a sequel available elsewhere called 2Kaizo2Learn that I haven't played yet but I suspect is an improvement in every way.

I did in fact learn a lot of Kaizo techniques and played all the way through to the end despite the double shell jump nearly killing me! The problems though are that the map layout is linear, so you can't skip any tricks that are giving you a lot of trouble, and the text box instructions for some tricks really aren't clear at all and I ended up having to look up several YouTube explanations (PangeaPanga has a commentated playthrough for this hack which is very helpful). I would have liked to have avoided going to outside sources if possible.

For the linear levels though, I could imagine someone getting frustrated with one trick and just giving up on the whole thing- if they could skip a level, they could continue to learn other things. I believe I saw mention somewhere too that some of the things shown in here are a bit dated and underutilized these days, but I'm not sure on that.

Overall definitely not bad and a good place to start a journey into Kaizo.
