FF3 - Divergent Paths - The 3 Scenarios, is a storyline and event hack that rewrites the "3 Scenarios" chapter of the game into a more naturally-flowing story. It starts with something simple: Edgar jumps from the raft to save his brother. From there, the divergent paths of the characters tell a unified story in 3 parts, each which foreshadows future character development.Screenshots

| Excellent fix for one of my biggest gripes with the game | LockeColeFF | 2022-12-06 | Version 1.1 |
The Three Scenarios in Vanilla are not created equally. One of the biggest complaints I had about them is the length it takes to complete each one. Locke's scenario can be completed in like 10 minutes if you know what you are doing. Terra's as well. Sabin's Scanario is WAY more flushed out with much more content that can take close to an hour to compete. This hack fixes that. It makes each scenario much more equal in terms of quality and content. It's amazing.

Straight forward as presented. Dialogue is fairly dictated (not changed to be edgy or modern). Changes are made to the overworld to reflect the changes to the divergence. (Example, the Ghost Railway/Forest is North of Doma). I greatly enjoyed the inclusion of Edgar on Sabin's journey. Unlike Shadow (who isn't even necessary) Edgar and Sabin take turns playing foil to Sabin; Edgar being the one who is the techno-phile to Cyan's techno-phobe. Minor Text Error: Banon replaces Sabin for the Veldt dialogue with Gau. One or two of his dialogue boxes still showcase the speaker as Sabin. Other than that the game, once patched, played just as normal.
