I enjoyed playing the other Zero games with the Restoration patches for them, they worked flawlessly, so it's really unfortunate that this specific game breaks apart the Form+EX Skill Subscreen into a broken graphical mess akin to the Kill Screen 256 in Pac-Man. It also seems to suffer random hang-ups both on mGBA and on the 3DS's Virtual Console from what I've tried (particularly at the Attack on the Base mission. I love the concept of bringing back the blood into MMZ, but as it is, I can't recommend this. | |||

As one reviewer mentioned, the hack has presented a major issue when entering the Form/EXSkill screen that looks absolutely disgusting. It's possibly not the only issue, however I didn't step far. | |||

The recent wave of Mega Man Zero restoration hacks for the GBA has lured me into playing these games all over again. It's surprising how things seem easier or more difficult after stepping away from these games for 10 years. Something has simple has restoring blood splatter just adds to the satisfaction of slicing and dicing enemies. I couldn't find anything wrong with the Mega Man Zero Restoration hack for the first game, but this Mega Man Zero 2 Restoration hack is not without flaws.
