This pair of hacks take what made the original SMB and SMB 2J and not only divides them up into two separate difficulties and adventures but also I feel it makes the latter games obsolete! Side A is pretty much the 2J hack with Poison Mushroom and harder levels. 1UPs are also scarce to non-existent to the point where you have to constantly collect coins to get more lives. Side B has you playing as Luigi and is much, much easier with plenty of 1UPs and is the hack of SMB but simplified. Should you play both of them? Yes! There's even a Part C coming with a new character soon so why not. | |||
