If you liked Super Mario Bros. 3.75: Torva Edition, you will almost undoubtedly like this one, as well, as it's more of the same. That's not a knock against it; the theme is so unique that I could play dozens like this, and it'd still feel fresh to me. Once again, the aesthetic is black with bold and/or bright colors as a contrast, and it works just as beautifully as ever. There are some references to Strange Mario Bros. 3, which is a long-standing favorite of mine, so well done, there! There are only 5 worlds, but the final world is so incredibly moody; there's nothing else like it. Particularly, World 5-7 has a wistful starlight aesthetic that is complemented perfectly by the music. If this hack has a flaw, it's the music; it feels crappy complaining about the lack of new music in a hack, but in this case, it's just too happy to work well with the dark visuals. That said, there's always a mute button, so it's not a big drag against it.
