Before we were married, my then-girlfriend and I went to Ireland in an attempt to move there. On the way there, as we sat in an airport, I grabbed my hacked GBA and I loaded this ROM hack to show to her.

At the time, she hadn't really played video games in years, but she had played SMB as a kid. When she saw this, she loved it - she was fascinated by how readable it was even though everything was just a big square. She played at least until the second castle before we had to get on the plane.

I think about this hack a lot!! It's extremely stylish and a really cool idea, and I'm shocked nobody has reviewed it until now. I would recommend playing it just to see how much you know about SMB even when you can't see the dang graphics.
