Hack description

This patch changes the colors of the Megadrive/Genesis port of Out Run, aiming to get as close as possible to the bright and vibrant look of the arcade version.
Includes improvements on all stages, intro and secret ending.
Minor changes to several tiles to improve shading.

Two hacks of this game and both are great but i prefer slightly this version. I'm so surprised to see what is possible to do with only 512 colours!

This certainly is an improvement over the original Genesis version, but Gabriel Pyron already did the same thing much earlier, and personally I think that hack did a little better than this one. Still, it's a pretty subjective matter, so try both and see for yourself.

The new colors are amazing and look better than ever before! All fans of Outrun on the SEGA Genesis will love this, and I hope Tor Landeel considers doing more Genesis color hacks in the near future.
