Well done sprite work! It's an old idea to revert Adventure Island back into Wonder Boy that hadn't been done yet. The character conversion looks great. Unfortunately this hack is more like "Wonder Boy IN Adventure Island". It only brings that character to the game, but the music, graphics and other details are not reflecting of the Wonder Boy game. Still, if that's what you're looking for, it's well done. | |||

Considering the original game was pretty much copy the Sega original arcade game. Just replaced original protagonist Wonder Boy with Master Higgins in his debut game. So this makes it feel like if Sega made a spinoff series for the Famicom/NES as an independent developer/third party back in the day instead of today. But we know that would have never happened unless the company went under sooner. I'm not sure if the original game counts as a copycat but it's still great anyways. | |||
