I used to play this before. And my opinion remains the same as it was then.

1. The graphic part of the game (except for enemies) is done well. The author's effort is visible

2. The difficulty is not balanced. In some stages, there are either too many enemies, or they are too strong. Because of this difference, I couldn't really evaluate the Level Design.

3. Bosses on the icons - more or less will come down, but as the bosses themselves - trouble. The AI was changed, but some became too complex that I tried to defeat everyone (not a single victory without Saving and Loading). And some of them have a strange design. But I will not dig into this. Yes, and the bosses of the Wily Castle - I had problems too (I couldn't overcome them without loading and saving)

4. Abilities have changed... for the worse. Some have become less effective, and with some are still effective, but problematic.

5. Тhe music didn't change

As then, so now - I can't enjoy this hack. Huck defeats me more than I defeat him. "Requires constant Saving and Loading - sorry, so everyone can eventually pass. But I experienced problems. I don't recommend this hack because of the unfair difficulty over the player"

I liked this one. The new robot masters were cool and had great designs. My favorite designs were Noise Man (I liked him more than Elecman actually), Ignis Man and Cosmo Man.

The level design is good (Wily 3 is just genius and amazing in concept) and I liked the changed graphical enemies. They look new and fresh overall.

The graphics could be better, since they are simple and only four or five stages are memorable to me. More details and stuff could have been done here in some stages.

The bosses AI are... not as good as they could be. Some of them are too hard to buster only and Ignis Man does too much damage, Fairy Girl is a spaz, Cosmo Man does not let you stay away from him, etc. Some of them should have been design abit better to make it possible to buster only no damage. I recommend save states against some of them if you do not have their weakness.

The new weapons are more and less, since like half of them goes diagonally up or down, which is fine for like two of them, but making lots of them like that makes some a bit useless. Also I personally could not find most of them useful since the level design were not made with some of them in mind. Overall, the arsenal could have more variety, but the good ones are actually good. I found Glue Man's weapon the most fun version of Crash Bomb of them all!

Overall, the hack deserves attention, and even with common flaws, it is still fresh and unique. It really could have new musics, but I still liked what I got!

Finally, thumbs up for the Rousenkreustilete and Megaman Unlimited references.

Rockman 2 Another

Difficulty: MEDIUM

Comments: A very entertaining hack that never goes overboard with its difficulty. While the robot masters are fairly tough and vicious, the stages themselves are well designed, giving you plenty of breathing room and goodies. The Wily stages are also fairly tame too, not falling head over heels for insta-death platforming like numerous other hacks. Wily 3 is an absolute gem, but unfortunately all the Wily bosses sans Boobeam remain the same. An enjoyable experience that's a decent blend of old and new.
