You play as a frog, a weak frog.peacefighter2022-07-14Version 1.0

In this hack you play as Luigi in a frog suit. I am pretty sure it is Luigi and not Mario because when you die your character's death animation is Luigi. Something to keep in mind is that you are not really playing a normal game of Mario 3 because even though you are in the frog suit it only takes one hit of damage to kill you. You don't become a small Mario or Luigi. You just lose a life. This makes the game much harder. It would make much more sense to find a way to make it so the player has hit points or can only be frog suit Mario or small Mario. Also this game has the other power-ups, but they only give you points. This would be a better hack if all the power-ups were changed into frog suits.

Overall this is a fun way to play Super Mario 3, but would greatly improve with some sort of life system and turning all power ups into frog suits. If you want to play Mario 3 in a very different way I still think this is unique enough to be a fun option. For any SMB3 fans I suggest trying out this fun idea.

I Loved It! I Hated It! I Loved It!FrankHuranku2022-07-13Version 1.0

I've only beaten the first world, but I enjoy what an interesting challenge this is. I really only have one gripe, which is the 1-hit death. I'd guess it's more difficult to add an extra hit in when collecting a powerup than it is to just shut them all off.

This is an interesting idea to try out & I'd suggest giving it a try.
