| Rockman 2: Advanced - A Good Redesign Of The Levels | diablo666 | 2021-12-14 | Version 1.0 |
It seemed like a normal hack. But this is an example of how it is possible to create levels in an interesting and creative way. They came out honest, passable, and some even with Puzzle elements. There is no busting with enemies or dishonest pits (spikes). It was even easier for me to pass than the original. We made alternative paths using C(R)lash Bomb. The palette is aesthetically pleasing. Does not hurt the eyes. This hack is one of the examples of the correct presentation of the Level Design.
| Creative level design, but it could have stronger palettes | Timaeus | 2020-09-29 | Version 1.0 |
The only real weak point of this hack is that the palettes are not as good as they could be. They are not bad by any means, but the creator could have used more colors combined together, like Adventures of Bass hack did. The levels are very good and creative, with smart and good though put behind them. They are alot of great and fair challenges awaiting in here. Great job on that. Overall, it is a nice remix of Megaman 2. It could have more colorful palettes, but what is here is very nice.
| Rockman 2: Advanced - OKAY | Dobu_GM | 2019-04-27 | Version 1.0 |
Rockman 2 Advanced Levels: Excellent Graphics: Okay (Palette Change) Music: No Change Enemies: No Change Bosses: No Change Weapons: No Change Castle: Good Difficulty: EASY Comments: A very enjoyable remix of Mega Man 2. Levels are changed up but designed very smartly, without being unfair or obnoxious; if anything, Advance feels like an alternate universe version of Mega Man 2. Using crash bomb barriers as an alternative path through Heat Man's level is just an example of this hack's ingenuity. Worth a playthrough if you want a pleasant MM2 experience that's a touch harder but nothing crazy (the laser beam section can be beaten first try!!!!)
