Fun hack with confusing routingIncantator2023-01-09Version 1.0

Overall, it was a fun hack. Story-wise, I expected a completely different one but it loosely follows that of the original game and only changes the texts (Silph Co., S.S. Anne, the interior of many buildings/caves not changed, 2 Snorlax that require flute etc). However, it gives you a huge amount of freedom when it comes to exploring the world. This was really great since I love the exploring aspect in Pokémon games, but there were few clues about where you should go next, and the routing can be unnecessarily confusing and winding; I got stuck 2-3 times and was able to resume only after watching YouTube walkthroughs. For one thing, I found the 4th gym only after I had completed all the others.

This is actually a fairly easy hack (harder than Vanilla though) once you get past the first gym; their lvls are almost the same as the ones you will encounter in the 2nd gym. My recommendation is to ignore the first gym and keep exploring and return back once you are ready. One thing I noticed is that my Meowth starter would not evolve to Persian at lvl 28 and also at lvl 29 for some frigging reason; I resorted to using save editor just so that I could get Persian, but it got overshadowed by other Pokémon pretty soon anyway. I also wish it had Exp.All so that I could raise other Pokémon easily, but I could not find one and I had to rely on one lvl 100 Pokémon most of the time until the end which was fairly boring.

Due to confusing routing and the fact that it more or less follows the core story progression (with altered texts) of the original game with many unchanged interiors, it is not a game that I would recommend to everyone. But this seems to be the best hack I can play in Gen 1 format with added flavor of story and increased difficulty (Battle Factory does not have its own story so...), so if that is what you are looking for, this hack gets the job done and you would definitely enjoy this hack. At least I had much fun.

Odd Yet Entertainingnoamda2019-05-27Version 1.0

A very challenging ROM hack - be prepared to do some grinding if you want to win.

It's a fun idea, and the execution is overall very solid: a new map, a new story, and remixed spawns.

It's definitely a great game for hardcore Pokemon fans, but its definitely not for everyone.

This is a good hack for the hardcore Pokemon fans. I usually try to really over power myself by the first gym battle, so I did that... AND I STILL COULDN'T BEAT HIM!!! Eventually, I pulled through though. Very funny hack, not in a sense of jokes, but that you're playing as the antagonists the whole game. Overall, great hack.
