Hack description

From the creator of Ninja Gaiden in Hell https://retrohackers.net/hack-details.php?id=2720/ here comes Deadpool Hardcore Edition, an modified version of the hack Deadpool https://retrohackers.net/hack-details.php?id=4723/

This version is tougher than the previous one but is also more rewarding by letting you play with 5 characters (instead of only 1) one of them being the original protagonist Ryu Hayabusa. Levels are slightly changed to fit the new difficulty also there are some new graphics here and there and new enemies. Bosses are ruthless, the layout of the levels is changed so they can get the upper hand. Merc mode is recommended in this hack, try hell mode only if you are a veteran of ninja gaiden and already finished Ninja Gaiden in Hell, (this hack is not as broken as NG in Hell but is still very hard)

*Update

Changed a bit the flinch mechanics, enemies speed, modified most of the levels and even added a new complete level plus a new secret image in the bonus level.

This is more like it!MetalSmasher862020-05-27Version 13.0

The base Deadpool hack was already my favorite Ninja Gaiden ROM hack, but somehow this hack manages to make it even better still.

I admit I was a little wary of this hack thinking it would basically be "Deadpool In Hell", but it's not. Not even close. All the levels from the original Deadpool hack are still intact, with some additional levels thrown in as well. More content is always a good thing, and though the levels and bosses are much harder in the Hardcore Edition, at no point is it unfair. Even on Hell mode, this hack is fully beatable by a normal gamer (though a lot of patience is required!).

The story segments have been completely cut out, which takes away a lot of the fourth wall breaks that make Deadpool who he is, but this version doesn't just star Deadpool. You also get to play as Deathstroke, Ezio from Assassin's Creed, Mr. Ninja Gaiden himself Ryu Hayabusa, and also one other character who I am unfamiliar with, all with their own theme songs which play during their stages. Nice little touch right there, though it's purely cosmetic and they all have the same playstyle.

Overall, if you love the Deadpool hack but thought it was too easy, give the Hardcore Edition a shot for an expanded experience with a fresh new challenge that doesn't go completely overboard!
