This hack (and the Halloween one) is a suggestion made by sil3nt_J (who has done the spritework for both games) in the community forum, you know, "for those without the skill but with all the ideas". This project shows how far you can go when you put together graphic talent + fresh ideas + hacking experience. I mean, using the official Karate Kid game as a basis for its streaming sequel? Brilliant. Unfortunately, there are no gameplay improvements, so it's the same broken LJN game, with 1v1 combat with zero strategy, unfair kills and poor collision detection. So, do I recommend this hack? Of course, because it makes the original game more fun and enjoyable. I only hope that in the future we will see a version with improved gameplay, because then we could talk not only about a good hack, but a great hack. | |||
