Hack description

Pac-Man - NES Improvement (formerly known as Pac-Man NES - GFX Restoration) is a hack that seeks to improve Namco's port of Pac-Man to the NES by providing a complete graphical facelift. Every graphic has been redrawn, recolored or both in order to resemble their arcade counterparts as closely as possible.

Check the included readme to see what's been changed in the v2.0 release.

Not the best optionvonseux2020-09-06Version 1.0a

I do not like the color of the dots being pink and that author used the Japanese version as basis. This being said, this game desperately needed a fix on its color pallet and icons.

didn't know i needed this beforeMichaelRoo2020-07-02Version 1.0a

Man, this is the most accurate recreation to the graphics of the arcade game, and this may be my new way to play the game. I recommend this if you want the look in your game more similar to the original one.

The Best Improvement Ever!SuperStarFox2020-05-23Version 1.0a

I Like This Rom-Hack Because...

1. Pac-Man's Sprites Are Now Improved! 2. The Ghosts Sprites Are Improved! 3. The Fruits Now Resemble The Arcade Version! 4. The Mazes Are Now Closer To The Arcade Version! 5. The Colors Aren't So Dark Anymore! 6. Pac-Man's Butt Doesn't Wiggle Anymore! (That part was a little disturbing)

This Is Totally Worth Playing If You're Looking For A Proper NES Port Of Pac-Man!

Now If Only Ms. Pac-Man On The NES Had A GFX Restoration Too...
