This hack enables you to save your game normally with SRAM and you no longer require a special save state to access Wily Tower. The original game used Serial EEPROM which few emulators support. This makes it use the much more common battery backed SRAM method.Screenshots

Saving works great and enables the player to complete the games normally (and switch back and forth between games on their file!) to access Wily's Tower. But not only that, this hack actually makes Wily Wars run on JenesisDS, an emulator for Nintendo DS. This runs on my old R4DS flash card. Normally Wily Wars (European or the Japanese Rockman Megaworld version) freezes on a black screen when it tries to load the title screen- I assume this is due to it trying to access the EEPROM in a way the emulator doesn't understand. But with this patch applied, the game runs great! Portable Wily Wars is awesome. Very recommended even just for getting to Wily's Tower normally, but it also has this double feature of, apparently, improving compatibility. Awesome! | |||

This rom hack dose everything it says its going to do SRAM dose work and getting to Wily's tower without a save state works I tested this on a PC emulator and one on PS2 and Wily tower works on both. Thank you very much. Download this people, you need it. Now if you don't mind, its time to go play Wily's tower. | |||
