Hack description

This is a hack for the 25th anniversary hack of Mother. It primarily restores the classic look of Mother while maintaining many of the improvements of the 25th anniversary edition.

It also has several miscellaneous edits such as making the Holy Loly Mountain caves less of a nightmarish maze, making Teddy's vanilla sprites look less weird, various text edits and many minor map changes and little details.

It also includes most of the changes from the Mother 25th faithful edition.

Note that the Mother 25th anniversary edition hack is REQUIRED for this hack to function.

Update 1.1:
Added Night Falls to the names on the title screen
Text message for dodging now actually appears

Update 1.2:
Fixed Ninten's basement and the haunted house having the wrong color pallet.

This hack combines the best of all worlds by utilizing the gameplay fixes brought about in the 25th Anniversary Edition, while restoring the classic visual charm that separates Mother 1 from the sequels. That's not all though, Night Falls successfully incorporates some of the graphical changes that the 25th Anniversary edition brought, so the game looks better than the vanilla game without changing the look drastically. The result is a polished, "faithful" edition of Mother that is approachable to newcomers but still challenging enough throughout the whole story to be fun. Thank you Night Falls for making this gem! 10/10 - played through the whole game with no notable glitches
