Final Fantasy IV - Complete Collection (US Version)Hack description
This patch gives Cecil and Rydia the additional white magic spells that were added in the 3D remake. Cecil gains Protect, Shell, and Life, and Rydia gains Confuse, Esuna, Cura, and Life. Since characters gain levels at different rates between the 2 versions of the game, levels are given that make sense within the 2D version's progression. This affects Final Fantasy IV and Final Fantasy IV ~Interlude, but not Final Fantasy IV The After Years.Screenshots

This hack does exactly what it says, expands the White Magic list for Child Rydia and Paladin Cecil. While this really doesn't do much for the former, mainly because you don't have her for that long as a child, it does give both characters more versatility. In particular, it gives Paladin Cecil much more use in battle besides just swinging his sword and holding down his attack command. It's worth giving a shot if you wanna give the two characters a bit more flair in battle. | |||
