The NES version of Pac-Man Championship Edition is very well done, but the developers decided to make the ghosts' eyes disappear when they're moving up, as if they're facing away - a strange decision since the original version of the game used the standard arcade sprites. This simple graphics hack adds back the ghosts' eyes in 3 of the graphics modes (press left or right when starting a game to chose alternate ones). YY-CHR was used to edit the graphics.Screenshots

| A little accepted detail | MichaelRoo | 2020-06-30 | Version 1.0 |
Just as the name says, it restores the little detail of the eyes looking up, as they were back in the day, that makes it look like the game was really made in those times.
| A really nice quality of life upgrade! | Cjleeh | 2020-06-30 | Version 1.0 |
I really had not noticed the eyes missing till it was pointed out. Once I saw this hack, I could never go back! Yes it is a minor detail, and if this game is just a casual curiosity for you. Then this hack may not do much for you, but if you are planning to keep going back to play this. Then I recommend you give this patch a shot.

A simple hack that fixes a pretty strange decision on the part of Namco. Recommended for anyone who wants their ghosts looking the way they're supposed to.

The ghost eye restoration is very nice! But the most important is to let the world know this rom exist!! Crazy! Crazy! A fast game play like that could run on NES!! Thanks samus12345!!
