Hack description

The changes in this patch are aimed at reducing grinding in this game.

The player always starts the game with full energy.

Special item restores 10 energy instead of 5.

Special item restores 5 missiles instead of 2.

You can get 7 energy packs instead of 6.

Raising the missile pack restores the full missiles supply.

Time to get different endings changed 3|3-5|5-7|7-9|9 hours.

If the player collects all equipment (except Wave beam), at least 6 energy packs, all 21 missiles packs, killing all bosses (the maximum number of missiles is 255), then, regardless of the time of the game, he gets the best ending, where Samus in bikini only.

Having never played the original Metroid, I can get into this old game when it is very much like the more modern 2D Metroids. This is a great hack that makes Metroid palatable.

A MUCH needed improvement that fixes the most tedious and unnecessary part of the original game. If this had been how the game was originally programmed, I assure you that it would have aged much better. Thanks for making this.
